Reasons to Refuse

1) Bodily autonomy: Jesus, the founder of the Christian faith, clearly teaches that there is a distinction between what belongs to the state and what belongs to God. “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.” Luke 20:25. In essence there is a limit to what any government can demand of people lest it fall into the purview in which God has exclusive rights. The Bible clearly teaches that God has exclusive rights to my physical person by creation and especially by redemption as it says “you are not your own, you are bought with a price.” 1 Corinthians 6:20. Furthermore verse 19 of the same chapter clearly states that God dwells within the Christian body and that body no longer belongs even to myself “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19. In short: the body of the Christian belongs to God on an individual level not a corporate level. The state, the Church, the family, or any other body has no right to enforce the ingesting, injection, or in any way participate in those things that I deem to infringe God’s right to my person.

2) Connected to the first point is Romans 14:2-4 “For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand…He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” Here the Bible clearly states that every INDIVIDUAL Christian has the right to accept or refuse what goes into the body irrespective of the wishes, opinions, or dictates of other beleivers. We are the LORD’S, not the CHURCH’S. We stand or fall before God alone. While not denying the responsibility of every Christian to act in unity with others and even follow properly constituted Church authority, that unity is NOT in conformity except it is done willingly. Coercion of conscience is abhorrent to God.

3) Further to point 2 above: complying with the order to take this alleged vaccine or testing against my Biblically informed conscience would make me complicit in a system that closely resembles the mark/number/name of the beast as described in Revelation 13. Admittedly while the alleged vaccine and covid test are not the mark/number/name of the beast; Yet they are preparatory to its inception. Revelation 13 describes a scenario where every earthly government will enforce a prescribed action/s that if not engaged, no human being may buy or sell. These alleged vaccines and testing are one of the vehicles for that very social control, a scenario playing out currently in throughout the world: people are prohibited from buying or selling in certain venues unless they receive a government approved identification based on compliance with receiving these alleged vaccines/tests. God’s judgments are pronounced upon those who would partake in the mark/number/name of the beast [Revelation 14:8-12]. Any Government, group, Church, or organization, in enacting these orders, is acting every bit in the spirit of the oppressive powers of Revelation 13. My Christian faith prohibits me from co-operating with any such systemic discrimination enacted by the government towards other human beings.

4) The example of Jesus is clear in following the principles above. Jesus never compels men into salvation by force, nor does he compel men to be healed by force. Jesus clearly says in John 12:32 “
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” The principle of Jesus is drawing, NOT coercion. Jesus also said “14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:” John 3:14. Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness that anyone who CHOSE could look on it and be healed from the serpent bites. No on was COMPELLED to do so. The principle of Jesus when it comes to healing is free will. Let every one be convinced if they would or would not take a course of action with regards to their health, but let no one compel such action.

Romans 12:1-2 sums up the matter “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” It is my Christian duty to not co-operate with customs of the world that would interfere with my relationship with God. The connection between a clean body and clear mind to discern spiritual truth and give God proper service are a clear Christian duty.
